Pathiri with
Chicken Roast
Pathiri paired with Chicken Roast is a classic South Indian favourite. The soft, delicate pathiris paired with spicy, flavourful chicken roast make everyone a fan of this special combo. The soft Nellara Pathiri and the chicken roast cooked with Nellara Chicken Masala give you the perfect taste. This combination is a true celebration of tradition and flavour.
Ingredients:
For Pathiri:
Nellara Ready-to-Cook Pathiri

For Chicken Roast:
- 500g chicken
- 2 tbsp Nellara Chicken Masala
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 green chillies
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Method
Prepare Pathiri:
- Heat a pan. Place the Nellara Ready-to-Cook Pathiri on it.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Once done, store it in an airtight container.
Cook Chicken Roast:
- Heat a pan.
- Pour 1 to 2 tbsp of coconut oil and wait for it to heat.
- Sauté green chillies, ginger-garlic paste, and onions until the onions turn golden brown.
- Add tomatoes, Nellara chicken masala, turmeric powder and salt. Mix thoroughly until the raw smell of the masalas goes off.
- Cook until the masala thickens, and then add chicken and salt. Cover and cook until it is done.
- Add some fresh coriander as a garnish.
Serve:
Serve the hot, soft pathiri with the spicy chicken roast.
