Matta Rice (Broken)
Broken Matta Rice or rice bits(Podiyari) are the imperfect shaped rice kernels that were broken to less than three-fourths of the whole rice kernel. They are known for their robust and earthy flavour of Red Matta Rice; an indigenous variety of rice grown in Palakkad district of Kerala, India.
